May 2012 Update
After much procrastination I have finally gotten around to writing the first blog entry on our shinny (not so new anymore) website. It’s taken a while to get started as I couldn’t figure out what anyone would want to read about. Cartridges are not fancy, they don’t taste nice or look pretty. They are something you have to have for your printer to work and run out at the most inconvenient of times. So what will I write about? Well I thought I might chat a little about what’s new.
Last month we supported a charity which is very dear to me, Autism Spectrum Australia (Aspect) by donating $1 from every online order. Aspect support children and families living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. You can visit their website here.
May sees the release of yet another new set of ink cartridges from HP, the new No. 932 & No. 933 cartridges have hit the market. As far as we can tell there isn’t much difference between these and their No. 920 and No. 940 predecessors but here they are. Currently fitting into only 3 machines HP Officejet 6100 All-in-One ePrinter, HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer, HP Officejet 6700 All-in-One ePrinter they are not really making too much of a splash in the market. HP has been making a huge push into the 4 cartridge market after Canon gained market share with their4 4, 5 & 6 cartridge machines. Some of the new HP machines also feature the ability to print via wireless from your iPad or iPhone. My HP at home which uses the No. 940s has the feature but I’ve never tried it.
All pricing remained steady throughout May after whispers in April that there may be a price rise heading our way.
I’ll try to make next month’s post a little more exciting, until then shoot us an e-mail or call if you need anything!
